Sonny Stitt’s 1 chorus of solo in 12 keys
Hi everyone! Today, it’s not quite the Lick of The Week, but rather the Chorus of The Week. It’s going to be a chorus from the great Sonny Stitt’s solo in 12 keys. I began transcribing this solo about a year ago, but never finished. I chose the second chorus of his solo because it’s simpler than others. The original tempo is much faster, so I still need to work on that. Here’s a link to the PDF featuring the original key.

Bein’ Green by Roberto Tola (smooth jazz)
Hello to everyone, I recorded in the smooth jazz guitarrist Roberto Tola's last work. I was very surprised to know that one of my sax heroes, the great Bob Mintzer plays in the same record. I don't know if I'll have the chance to meet Bob anytime or even to record with him but it makes me very happy to know we are playing in the same CD:) It seems stupid, I know but I just cannot help to share it with you, collegues 🙂
